FireLine® 4 lb Beading Thread
FireLine® 4 lb is a micro-fused, braided beading thread made from high-performance polyethylene fibers (Dyneema®/Spectra®). Renowned for its exceptional strength, zero stretch, and outstanding abrasion resistance, it is one of the most trusted beading threads among jewelry makers and professional bead artists.
With a 4 lb (1.8 kg) breaking strength and an ultra-fine diameter of 0.005 in. (0.12–0.13 mm), FireLine® is thin enough to pass through small bead holes multiple times using a size #12 beading needle. Its fine profile combined with superior durability makes it ideal for projects that require repeated thread passes.
Factory pre-waxed for smooth stitching, FireLine® resists stretching, fraying, and wear while gliding effortlessly through beads. It is especially recommended for precision bead weaving with sharp-edged crystals, seed beads, Miyuki Delica beads, and other small-hole beads.
Perfect for peyote stitch, brick stitch, square stitch, loom weaving, and off-loom bead weaving, FireLine® delivers exceptional durability, reliability, and performance for jewelry making and intricate beading projects.
Due to its slightly stiff micro-fused construction, FireLine® is not recommended for beaded fringe, as it will not drape as naturally as softer beading threads.
